The issue with Binance's suspension of crypto debit card services was first raised when an X (formerly Twitter) user brought to light issues with crypto debit cards in Colombia. Binance, on the other hand, responded to the question asked by the user with an announcement stating that debit card services will be suspended from August 25. In addition, there was no explanation from the stock market regarding the said decision.

As it is known, Binance first announced its crypto-backed debit card plans in April 2020, as part of its goal of entering the global payments market. As of July 2020, crypto debit cards began to be sent to European countries and several other countries around the world. The crypto exchange later partnered with payment processor Swipe as it aims to offer crypto debit cards in the United States as well.
